Selection of innovative projects for sponsorship and awards
  • * ‘Alumni Mentored Students’ Innovative project exhibition will be held in our campus
  • annually during the month of January. All the students are motivated to fabricate highly
  • innovative and industry ready projects and present it in the exhibition.
  • * To facilitate project selection and development, value added courses are conducted
  • during the start of the semester. Also the ‘Abstracts of Innovative projects’ demonstrated
  • during previous exhibitions are available in the department library for reference purpose.
  • * Our Alumni will mentor and guide the students based on their expertise and interest.
  • * On the day of exhibition, Juries (Alumni) will judge the best projects and present awards
  • to the winners. Awards are sponsored by Alumni.
  • * IEDC will sponsor the student’s projects for further conversion into marketable products.
  • * Students interested in entrepreneurship are advised to contact IEDC for further support.
  • * A maximum of twenty new projects would be supported in a year.
  • * The projects should be student’s projects with a high degree of innovation and
  • commercial viability.
  • * As far as possible the projects should be multi-disciplinary in nature and should be
  • executed by teams consisting of students drawn from various levels.
  • * The projects should also have a high degree of commercial viability to lead to possible
  • startup by students.
